2022 LASEA Summer Fest Conference

The 2022 Louisiana Association of Special Education Administrators (LASEA) Summer Fest is an annual professional development conference that brings together Louisiana’s special education administrators to strengthen their skills and enhance their professional growth. Participants of the event shared their knowledge and learned more about strategies for supporting children and youth as they prepare for the 2022-2023 school year. The LASEA Summer Fest Conference took place from June 21 - 23, 2022 at the Loews Hotel in New Orleans.

HEAL’s CEO, Connie Bellone and Licensed Psychologist, Deborah Palmer, Ph.D. presented to guests of the conference on the topic of maximizing Medicaid reimbursement to help pay for health care services provided at school. The attendees were engaged in the presentation and were very interested in learning more about the recent Medicare updates and compliance requirements.  

HEAL also hosted a table in the exhibit hall of the conference and was able to speak with approximately 75 - 100 guests who visited HEAL's table. Guest visiting HEAL’s table enjoyed the information shared along with the wonderful giveaways.
